Our Partners

We always welcome and develop partnerships and collaborations with other organizations, donors, groups and foundations because it takes a village to raise the bar meaning it needs all the supports, efforts and resources to make our world a better place for all.
To improve the livelihoods and transforming the lives of those who are affected by wars and man-made conflicts as well as stricken poverty, especially refugees (women, children, youths and young adults) and under-served communities in the parts of the world like western Ethiopia, southeast of South Sudan, South Sudan and beyond, it definitely needs funding, man power, capacities and resources.

Throughout its history ASDF has and will continue to partner with other organizations, groups, donors and foundations locally, nationally, and internationally that share its vision.
These organizations provide additional sources of funding and resources that allow ASDF to achieve its goals and objectives on a broad scale. They include, but are not limited to:

Again, we will continue to developing partnerships and collaborations with others as long they share our mission and vision and do things differently in terms of spending 80% or 85% towards the projects and projects or the causes then we’re OK with that. Also, we have got to not follow the colonial ways of doing business.

We are currently looking to develop partnerships with other organizations, donors, foundations and government agencies. Together we can help transform lives both abroad and at home with philanthropy that fits with your business goals.
For example, we are in the process to partnership with organizations like Embolden Alliances, Doctors Without Borders, Engineers Without Boards and others in shortcoming weeks and months.

Mission statement 1

Presently, the ASDF as a directed grass-roots international nongovernmental organization (NGO)’s mission is to provide access, equipment, healthcare, education and products for women, children, youth and other vulnerable peoples who are refugees and displaced communities in the western Ethiopia from or in South Sudan and Ethiopia. To improve their lives and provide a sustainable future for themselves, families, and communities.

Why we are Different

ASDFN is led by a former refugee, Juanis K. Lual, who spent seven years in a refugee camp similar to those in Gambella. Juanis’ own personal experience in addition to his education makes him an expert in humanitarian crisis. He has experienced the obstacles faced in this very important work from both sides.

Our Mission & Approach

Our financial and reputational goal is to obtain and maintain a Charity Navigator ® 4-Star rating. To this end, we will work diligently and transparently to achieve our goal of 85% of our total program expenses spent on the programs and services we provide, and a 100% rating on accountability and transparency. In doing so we can assure our donors that their generosity and support is greatly appreciated, and that the bulk of the money they donate will be going to the causes they support. We are definitely aware and understand that we must, and will always, take preventative measures to guard against corruption, mismanagement, and construction inefficiencies in order to set an example of positive improvements, empowerment, save lives, change livelihoods and meet the goal of community sustainable development.
