Adam Itzkowitz

ASDF Board of Informal/Advisory/Consulting.

Adam Itzkowitz serves ASDF in an advisory/consulting role. He is also our partner client because his organization and us have been collaborating since the establishment of the ASDF. He assisted in advising capacity and fundraising assistance and networking; brings experience as a non profit industry expert.

Adam Itzkowitz is a nonprofit executive with over a decade of experience working in international education, social entrepreneurship, corporate social responsibility. Adam is currently the Executive Director or the Orbis Institute and the Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Better World Club.

Adam is the Executive Director of Orbis Institute, a non-profit organization supporting the next generation social innovators who are tackling some of the world’s biggest challenges. Orbis Institute’s programs have impacted over 5,000 young leaders from 35 countries. Under Adam’s leadership, The Clinton Global Initiative recognized Orbis Institute’s work naming it a Leading National Youth Organization.

Adam is also currently serving as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Better World Club. Adam’s work at Better World Club focuses on growing the nation’s largest club of socially responsible consumers.
Prior to joining Better World Club, Adam co-founded Greenlighted, a social venture building technology and marketing solutions for the corporate social responsibility industry. Greenlighted won the United Nations World Summit Award for its work addressing the Millennium Development Goals.

Adam has consulted for numerous nonprofits and social enterprise companies. He has served as an Ambassador and Judge for the UN World Summit Awards and as a Panel Judge for the Millennium Campus Network’s Fellowship Program. He has presented at workshops and forums on topics including as an Expert Facilitator on Sustainable Development for the World Congress on Internet Technology, on Global Leadership to the Presidents Leadership Class at Johnson and Wales University, and on Global Partnerships at the Posner Center for International Development.

He has served on Advisory Boards for the University Community Partnerships for Social Action Research, Institute for International Education’s Young Professionals Board, and currently serves as an advisor to the African Sustainable Development Foundation.
